The Opportunity:


Accelerated Growth in the Middle East ClearTax's Middle-East business has grown exponentially, achieving a CAGR of 60-70% in the last few years. We are expanding our Go-to-Market (GTM) teams for accelerated growth in KSA and the wider Middle East region.


Role Summary: Lead - Enterprise Account Executive, Riyadh, KSA (Player-Coach)


This is a critical Team Lead role designed for an experienced professional who will function as a Player-Coach. This individual will be directly responsible for closing a personal book of business with large, strategic enterprise clients (>$500Mn revenue) in KSA while also coaching and managing a small team of Account Executives to drive consistent sales discipline and process rigor across the region. The individual will be the partner of choice for the CFO office, engaging senior executives to understand complex business challenges and create value through ClearTax’s technology solutions.


1. Player: Market Ownership, Hunting, & Strategic Account Farming

● Market Leadership & Quota Ownership: Carry and consistently exceed an individual sales quota by managing the end-to-end pipeline, focusing on both new enterprise acquisition (hunting) and strategic growth within the existing customer base across the KSA market.

● Strategic Account Farming & Cross-Selling: Drive expansion and revenue growth by cultivating relationships with existing major clients, identifying their needs, and successfully selling ClearTax's additional products (e.g., FinTech solutions, compliance tools) that are tailored for KSA.

● C-Level Engagement: Conduct high-value, consultative engagements with CFOs, Tax Heads, and senior executives at target enterprises.

● Solution Expertise & Integration: Confidently understand and demo the ClearTax suite of products, underlying technology, and various complex ERP integration modalities (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

● Lead Generation & Market Presence: Be proficient in generating high-quality leads via strategic networking, cold calling, and referrals, and actively build ClearTax's market presence in the Kingdom.


2. Coach: Team Development & Sales Discipline

● Coaching & Mentorship: Provide direct, day-to-day coaching and mentorship to a small team of Account Executives, setting a high performance standard and grooming them for success.

● Process & Discipline Enforcement: Build, implement, and enforce robust sales discipline, standardized processes, and winning habits that form the foundation of a scalable team.

● Pipeline Inspection & Forecasting: Conduct regular forecast calls and pipeline inspection to ensure exceptional deal flow quality, accurate revenue projection, and adherence to sales KPIs.

● Cross-Functional Enablement: Partner strategically with Sales Operations, Product Marketing, and Leadership to ensure the team has the necessary tools, enablement, and support to achieve targets.


Required Skills & Experience Functional Expertise


● Sales Team Management: Experience handling B2B SaaS/IT sales teams, preferably within the MEA markets.

● Enterprise Sales: Proven track record of exceeding sales targets selling to large strategic accounts (>$500Mn revenue).

● Market Knowledge: Demonstrated success selling to Large Enterprises in KSA with a strong network/relationships with CXOs in the market.

● Sales Acumen: Expertise in value-selling principles, complex sales cycles, negotiating, and closing high-value deals in competitive environments.


Qualifications


● Graduation or MBA degree from a reputed institute (MBA is preferred).

● Total Experience: 8+ years of overall experience, with a significant tenure in direct B2B SaaS/Technology sales and team management.

● Saudi Residency: Candidates currently residing in Saudi Arabia with local sales experience are strongly preferred. Proficiency in Arabic speaking/writing is a plus.
