Job Overview
Role: Lead Enterprise Platform Architect - SAP
Location: Mumbai, Hybrid eligible
The Platform Architect, SAP is a critical role within CyberEA (Cyber and Enterprise Architecture) group
of General Mill’s D&T (Digital and Technology) organization. This role specifically focuses on the SAP
platform and its comprehensive integrations across the enterprise. Solutions include projects and
products, systems (applications, processes, data and technology), shared infrastructure services and
shared application services. They are accountable for driving clarity, enabling enterprise agility, and
mitigating risk within and across all domains.
Role Responsibilities
- The candidate works as an individual contributor.
- The candidate is accountable to provide guidance and regular consulting to various stakeholders.
- Focus on technical near-term strategy to design and deliver successful solutions, with a emphasis on
the SAP landscape and integrations with the SAP landscape.
- It is expected that the candidate should act as partner with overall SAP practices teams and
contribute to architecture design of critical enterprise systems.
- Align prioritized solutions to strategy, technical implementation leadership across an ecosystem (ex,
Finance, Sales, or Marketing), design & delivery, and define interfaces and integration patterns for
SAP and connected systems.
· Coach and mentor other architects, product owners/managers and business stakeholders to encourage architectural thinking · Provide leadership, analysis and design tasks ensure technology solutions meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards, with a strong focus on SAP best practices, architectural principles, and roadmap alignment · Should keep constant connect with external community, understand future trends, and influence internal functions with the same
Must - have skills and experience
- 12+ Years of architecture experience with SAP
- Deep knowledge of SAP's technology stack, such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology
Platform (BTP), SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and various SAP
modules & bigger picture understanding of systems that integrate with SAP.
- Candidate should have working experience with a global team on supporting SAP and Non-SAP
systems.
- Candidate should have knowledge in working on HANA, S4, cloud hyperscaler (desired GCP) &
macro knowledge of various modules of SAP solutions
- Strong problem determination and resolution skills are needed
- Skilled at understanding the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to organize, prioritize, follow-up and ensure execution of multiple projects in a dynamic
environment.
