Lead Financial Analyst

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team with great potential upside. This is a fast-paced "hedge-fund" environment where the analyst will research and build financial models including DCF, NPV, and amortization models for pharmaceutical IP acquisition assets, and private credit to potential customers.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving financial performance through comprehensive analysis and strategic planning. This position requires expertise in private credit amortization scheduling, knowledg of asset based financing (ABF) structuring, cash flow analysis, budgeting with proficiency in tools such as Bloomberg, Excel and power point. The Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate with various departments and external investment banks.

Good communication skills and organization skills a must.

Responsibilities

  • Create financial models of cash flow streams of individual pharmaceutical drugs
  • Organize data room and due diligence material
  • Research individual drug development and cash flows from pharmaceutical firms
  • Build private credit and ABF lending models with amortization schedules.
  • Conduct thorough cash flow analysis to forecast financial performance and identify trends including NPV, DCF and other metrics.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Utilize IQVIA, Bloomberg, online platforms and other tools for market research and data analysis to inform financial strategies.
  • Implement business intelligence tools to enhance reporting capabilities and data visualization.
  • Communicate and present internally and to external stakeholders

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification is preferred.
  • Investment banking in Life Sciences (M&A, Analyst) with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices with major investment banks is a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel for advanced data analysis, including the use of VBA for automation tasks.
  • Experience with cash flow analysis, budgeting processes, strategic planning, and financial modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools and Virtual Data room software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
