Lead Full Stack Developer

Devtags.io is a service-based software company that helps startups and businesses build custom digital platforms from the ground up. We specialize in full-cycle product development — including UI/UX, backend/frontend engineering, and DevOps — delivering scalable, high-performance solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Full Stack Developer located in Lahore, Pakistan. You will:

• Architect and develop scalable backend services.
• Build RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints to power mobile and web apps
• Integrate secure payment systems (Stripe etc)
• Implement authentication (OAuth, JWT) and role-based access controls
• Manage real-time messaging/chat systems with file sharing
• Handle media uploads and optimization (e.g., AWS S3 or GCP Cloud Storage)
• Build booking systems with time slots, conflict resolution, and smart calendar sync
• Lead implementation of AI-powered matching and smart recommendation modules
• Collaborate with UI/UX, frontend, and product teams to bring features to life
• Optimize performance, caching, and database queries
• Own DevOps pipeline: CI/CD, monitoring, scaling, backups

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience (at least 1 year leading projects)
• Proven ability to design system architecture and scale backend infrastructure
• Experience building booking systems, marketplaces, or SaaS platforms
• Strong knowledge of security best practices (OWASP, token management)
• Ability to lead junior developers, perform code reviews, and set coding standards
• Passion for clean code, performance optimization, and scalability
• Excellent English communication and documentation skills
• Bonus: Experience with AI services, recommendation systems, or OCR tools

Tech Stack

• Database: PostgreSQL (preferred), MongoDB, Redis (for caching/sessions)
• Cloud: AWS or Google Cloud Platform
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions or similar
• Media Storage: S3/GCP Buckets
• Auth: JWT, OAuth2, Passport.js
• Testing: Jest, Mocha, Supertest
• Other: Docker, WebSockets, Stripe SDK, Google Calendar/iCal APIs
