Our client is seeking a skilled and compassionate Lead Associate Dentist to join their established healthcare team. This position will have a strong emphasis on providing high-quality care in a professional, supportive, and welcoming environment.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a broad range of dental needs while addressing the behavioral health considerations often present in underserved community patients.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive dental care, including examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, and preventive services
  • Conduct thorough diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Manage dental emergencies and complex cases as required
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families, fostering trust and understanding throughout treatment
  • Utilize proven behavioral management techniques to ensure a positive dental experience for patients
  • Collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, hygienists, and other providers to deliver integrated care
  • Maintain accurate, compliant, and timely patient records in accordance with health center policies and regulations
  • Participate in community outreach and educational programs to promote oral health awareness
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to dental assistants and other support staff

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD degree with current licensure in the state of Missouri
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in dentistry preferred
  • Prior experience in pediatric dentistry strongly preferred
  • Training or demonstrated ability in managing pediatric behavioral health issues and dental anxiety is advantageous
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with children and families
  • Patient-centered approach with a commitment to compassionate, high-quality care
  • Willingness to serve in a rural health center setting and provide care to underserved populations
  • Knowledge of current dental technologies and a commitment to ongoing professional development

Position Details

  • Full-time, day shift, Monday through Friday.
