Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Lead Generation Specialist on Upwork (BDE) with proven expertise in Upwork lead generation for website design, development, and full-stack web applications.
The ideal candidate will identify qualified opportunities, craft persuasive proposals, and maintain consistent communication with potential clients. You’ll work under a Team Lead while managing your own daily bidding pipeline with full ownership and accountability.
This is an on-site role in Johar Town, Lahore — ideal for candidates who thrive in a performance-driven environment and understand how to convert Up-work activity into tangible business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and bid on Upwork projects related to web design, web development, and full-stack applications.
- Write custom, high-conversion proposals tailored to client requirements.
- Maintain structured lead generation and follow-up processes using Trello or Asana.
- Collaborate with the Team Lead to refine bidding strategies, proposal templates, and pricing models.
- Conduct timely follow-ups with potential clients and ensure handoff to the sales closer when needed.
- Achieve the monthly target of 60 qualified leads per profile.
- Maintain accurate records of bids, conversations, and progress via Slack, Trello, and Asana.
- Provide weekly performance reports covering lead quality, response rates, and conversions.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- 60 qualified leads per month per profile.
- Improved proposal response and conversion rates.
- Timely and consistent follow-ups.
- Quality and relevance of sourced leads.
- Accuracy and completeness of reporting.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–3 years of proven experience in Upwork bidding and lead generation for web or app development.
- Demonstrated success meeting lead generation or revenue targets within the past 3 months.
- Strong knowledge of Upwork algorithms, bidding psychology, and client engagement tactics.
- Must be able to read, write, listen, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Excellent communication, proposal writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently while reporting effectively to the Team Lead.
- Proficiency with Slack, Trello, and Asana.
- Flexibility to operate across UK, USA, and Middle East time zones.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing both new and $10K+ earned Upwork profiles.
- Understanding of web design, development, and full-stack project sales cycles.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven personality.
