Job Description:
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Lead Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will take the lead in creating visually compelling designs for print and digital projects while also overseeing aspects of print production to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery. You will collaborate with customers to bring their ideas to life, guide projects from concept through completion, and help set the creative direction of our design and production work.

This position requires strong design expertise, excellent communication skills, and a working knowledge of print production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Leadership: Develop creative concepts and produce high-quality designs for print, digital, and large-format applications. Provide guidance and feedback to ensure consistency and excellence across all design work.
• Customer Collaboration: Meet with customers in person, by phone, or via email to understand their vision, provide design recommendations, prepare quotes, and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Project Management: Oversee projects from initial concept to finished product, including design, proofing, production scheduling, and delivery deadlines.
• Prepress & File Preparation: Prepare design files for print, ensuring accuracy in layout, image resolution, color profiles, and bleed/trim settings.
• Print Production Support: Operate digital and large-format printing equipment as needed, and apply finishing techniques such as laminating, trimming, and binding.
• Quality Control: Review and proof designs, printed materials, and finished products to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality standards.
• Collaboration & Team Support: Work closely with the production team to prioritize jobs and maintain workflow efficiency. Provide creative insight and technical support when needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio of print and digital work (lead or senior design experience preferred).
• Familiarity with print production workflows, prepress requirements, and finishing techniques.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Cloud: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and move print materials and supplies (up to 65 lbs) when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
