Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
- Perform skilled work in the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout and installation of HVAC systems
- Test HVAC systems for proper functioning and perform necessary repairs or adjustments
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues promptly
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC installer or technician
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- EPA certification preferred
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge: Understanding of mechanical components and systems in HVAC installations
- Experience in troubleshooting issues
- HVAC: Knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Van driver: Ability to operate a company van for transportation to job sites
- Air conditioning: Expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning units
- HVAC/R: Knowledge of both heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
- Design: Understanding of HVAC system design principles
- Misc: Brazing, Copper Bending, Sheetmetal, Hi-voltage, Low-voltage, Charging, EPA 608 (Type 2 Minimum), Refrigerant Charging and Evacuation, Drain Line Plumbing, Ductwork, Carpentry (related to equipment).
