Lead Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Installer

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the successful installation and repair of HVAC systems across various property types. As a leader on the installation crew, you will oversee technical operations, mentor junior team members, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. We service both Snohomish County and King County. Primary work is done on residential and light commercial applications focusing on installation of heat pumps, mini split systems, gas & electric furnaces, tankless water heaters and gas fireplace inserts. Must have a can-do attitude, work well with others, good organization skills, someone who is clean and tidy, and has excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on installation work while mentoring our junior staff. This is a "working leader" role—you will run the jobsite, perform the primary installation work, and ensure our apprentices are learning proper, high-quality installation techniques
• Lead the installation of HVAC systems including heat pumps, furnaces, mini split systems, air conditioning units, boilers, fireplace inserts, tankless water heaters, refrigeration equipment, ventilation systems, and ensuring compliance with schematics and safety standards
• Ensure all work adheres to local codes, safety regulations, and company policies while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Manage inventory of parts and tools necessary for installation projects

Qualifications

• 8-10 years experience as an HVAC lead installer
• Experience installing heat pumps, mini split systems, gas and electric furnaces, tankless water heaters, boilers, and gas fireplace inserts
• Current 06A license, Refrigeration license, GP license, EPA license
• Sheet metal fabrication experience
• Gas piping experience
• Soldering & brazing
• Low & high voltage wiring
• Refrigeration line installation experience
• Venting
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining a focus on quality control
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with diverse client groups

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
