About This Role

We’re looking for an experienced HVAC professional with an active C-20 HVAC contractor’s license to join Aire Serv® as our Lead Technician who will also be our RME. This is a unique opportunity with a built-in path to management.

The Role

As an HVAC Service & Installation Technician at Aire Serv®, you’re the expert our customers count on. You’ll install, service, and repair heating and cooling systems for residential customers across the Temecula Valley. You’ll diagnose problems with confidence, explain solutions clearly, and help homeowners make informed decisions about their comfort. You’ll take pride in every job and represent the Aire Serv® standard of excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC, refrigeration, and heating systems with precision and attention to detail
  • Diagnose system issues and clearly communicate findings and solutions to homeowners
  • Help customers make confident decisions by identifying opportunities for additional services or products that genuinely improve their comfort
  • Ensure efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock on your truck
  • Collect payment and process customer transactions for completed work
  • Maintain clear communication with dispatch, management, parts, and installation teams throughout the day
  • Keep your company vehicle and equipment clean, properly serviced, and in top working condition
  • Complete invoices, route sheets, and required reporting accurately and on time
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and perform additional duties as needed
  • Invest in your own development by engaging in ongoing Aire Serv® training and education programs
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude that reflects our code of values

What We’re Looking For

You take pride in your work, and it shows. You’re the kind of technician who does it right the first time and treats every home like your own. Here’s what we need:

  • Active C-20 HVAC contractor’s license (required—must be willing to sign a separate qualifying agreement with additional compensation)
  • Experienced in residential HVAC installation, service, and repair
  • CFC Certification (or willingness to obtain—we’ll help you get there)
  • Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Strong communication skills—you can translate technical details into language homeowners understand and trust
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing your time in a fast-moving environment
  • Professional in both appearance and personality—you represent Aire Serv® with respect and courtesy
  • Commercial HVAC experience is a plus—preferred but not required
