Lead HVAC Technician

Summers Plumbing HeatingCooling located in Warsaw, IN is looking to hire a full-time Lead HVAC Technician – Residential Service Leader to go into the homes of our clients, service and troubleshoot HVAC systems, and serve as the technical leader of our HVAC department. This is a working leadership position - you will continue running service calls while also mentoring other technicians and helping lead weekly trainings.

We are locally owned and operated right here in Warsaw. The owner is involved in the business daily, works directly with our team, and is committed to developing strong technicians into strong leaders. This is not a corporate office run from another state - we are building a highperforming team right here in our community.

This position is offered pay of $75,000 – $85,000+, depending on experience and performance, with uncapped incentives and spiffs! The typical workday starts at 7:30 am and ends dependent upon call volume. We also offer amazing benefits which include 2 weeks vacation after 90 days (pro-rated), paid holidays, a 401(k) plan, health insurance, vision, dental, company-paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, work phone, iPad, gas card, take-home van, and company-sponsored lunches and events. Our company offers weekly trainings, paid schooling, and opportunities for advancement. Relocation assistance is available and can be discussed during the interview process.

LEAD HVAC TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of residential HVAC service experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability across a variety of residential systems
• Passion for mentoring and developing other technicians
• Comfortable leading weekly team trainings
• Able to participate in an on-call rotation
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must reside within 30 minutes of our primary office
