Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Hydrology & Drainage Lead to oversee the design and implementation of drainage systems for major Roads & Bridges infrastructure projects. The role involves leading hydrological analysis, stormwater management design, and ensuring compliance with local authority standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead hydrology and drainage design for Roads & Bridges projects
• Perform hydrological and hydraulic analysis (stormwater, runoff, flood studies)
• Design stormwater drainage systems, including pipelines, culverts, and channels
• Review and approve design drawings, calculations, and reports
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations and standards
• Coordinate with civil, roads, and utilities teams for integrated design
• Conduct flood risk assessments and propose mitigation solutions
• Monitor design progress, quality, and timelines
• Provide technical guidance to engineering teams
• Prepare technical reports and client presentations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in hydrology and drainage for infrastructure projects
• Strong expertise in stormwater management and flood analysis
• Experience with tools such as HEC-RAS, SWMM, or InfoWorks
• Knowledge of UAE drainage standards and authority requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Experience on large-scale Roads & Bridges projects in UAE
• Familiarity with GIS or BIM tools
• PMP or relevant certification is a plus

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
