Job Description: Salesforce Developer (Certinia / FinancialForce PSA)

Location : Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Noida, Kochi, Trivandrum, Hyderabad

Experience Range:

• 5+ years of total IT experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Salesforce development, configuration, and administration.
• Mandatory, deep experience customizing and developing solutions on the Certinia PSA platform.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Certinia PSA customization and development.
• Expertise in Salesforce development, including:
• Apex (triggers, batch classes, REST/SOAP APIs)
• Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Salesforce Flows (Record-Triggered, Screen Flows, Auto-Launched)
• Visualforce
• SOQL/SOSL
• Ability to explain end-to-end configuration and implementation of past Salesforce/Certinia projects.
• Solid understanding of:
• Salesforce data model
• Salesforce security model
• Deployment practices and best-practice development approaches (e.g., trigger frameworks)
• Experience integrating Certinia with external systems such as HRIS or financial platforms.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for onsite/offshore coordination.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Agentforce and Data Cloud.
• Experience building reports, dashboards, and custom UI components supporting PSA processes.
• Exposure to Salesforce DevOps practices and CI/CD (e.g., Git-based version control).
• Knowledge of Lightning App Builder, Dynamic Forms, and complex automation strategies.
• JavaScript developer certification or additional Salesforce Consultant certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable solutions on the Certinia PSA platform using Apex, LWC, and Flows.
• Customize and configure Certinia PSA to support complex business requirements using Lightning App Builder, Dynamic Forms, and custom components.
• Architect and implement solutions aligned with the Certinia PSA data model, including triggers, batch processes, and API-based integrations.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure best-practice Salesforce development standards.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and BAs to translate functional requirements into technical designs.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and UI components supporting PSA workflows.
• Manage and troubleshoot integrations with third-party and internal systems (HRIS, Finance).
• Participate actively in all Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
• Provide senior-level support during UAT, deployments, and post-deployment stabilization.
• Stay updated with Salesforce and Certinia releases and propose platform improvements.

Required Certifications:

Must Have:

• Salesforce Platform Developer I
• Salesforce App Builder

Desirable:

• Salesforce Platform Developer II

Good to Have:

• Certinia (FinancialForce) certifications (highly desirable)
• JavaScript Developer I or other Salesforce consultant certifications
