We are seeking a skilled AI Automation Engineer with a strong security background to design, develop, and maintain automation systems that enhance security operations. The role focuses on improving threat detection, streamlining security workflows, and ensuring reliable integration with existing security platforms and SDKs. The ideal candidate is proactive, technically strong, and collaborative.
Key Responsibilities (Summary)
Design, develop, and maintain security-focused automation systems
Implement scalable automation across multiple security platforms
Proactively monitor and improve system performance and reliability
Collaborate with security and development teams to align solutions with business goals
Ensure seamless integration with predefined SDKs
Continuously enhance automation processes using emerging AI and security technologies
Experience Required
9–12 years of hands-on experience in security automation, security engineering, or automation development
Proven experience designing and implementing automation solutions in security environments
Experience working with cross-functional teams including security, software development, and operations
Prior experience integrating solutions using SDKs or APIs
Mandatory Skills
Strong experience in security automation system design and development
Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ (Python preferred)
Hands-on experience with security platforms/tools, such as:
SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
IDS/IPS
Endpoint protection solutions
Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues within automation and security systems
Experience integrating automation solutions with existing security infrastructure
Solid understanding of security workflows, incident response, and threat detection
Familiarity with SDK-based integrations and ensuring compliance with SDK standards
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Good communication and collaboration abilities
Good-to-Have Skills
Experience applying AI/ML techniques in security use cases (e.g., anomaly detection, threat classification)
Knowledge of SOAR platforms and security orchestration
Exposure to cloud security environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with DevSecOps practices
Understanding of scalable and high-availability system design
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Security certifications (e.g., CEH, Security+, CISSP) – nice to have
