Role description
Role Proficiency:
Act creatively to develop applications and select appropriate technical options optimizing application development maintenance and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions account for others' developmental activities
Outcomes:
- Interpret the application/feature/component design to develop the same in accordance with specifications.
- Code debug test document and communicate product/component/feature development stages.
- Validate results with user representatives; integrates and commissions the overall solution
- Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components or creating own solutions
- Optimises efficiency cost and quality.
- Influence and improve customer satisfaction
- Set FAST goals for self/team; provide feedback to FAST goals of team members

- Perform defect RCA and mitigation

Estimate:
- Create and provide input for effort estimation for projects

- Consume and contribute to project related documents

This role involves designing and implementing scalable ServiceNow solutions that streamline IT service delivery, project portfolio management, and cross-platform integrations. Key Responsibilities • ITSM Development: Configure and customize modules like Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Catalog, and Service Portal. • PPM Implementation: Develop and maintain PPM modules including Demand Management, Project Management, Resource Management, and Time Tracking. • Integration Engineering: Build and manage integrations using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, MID Servers, and other APIs to connect ServiceNow with external systems (e.g., Jira, Slack, Azure AD). • Workflow Automation: Design and implement workflows using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor across ITSM and PPM processes. • Platform Maintenance: Perform upgrades, patching, and performance tuning. • Documentation & Support: Maintain technical documentation and provide end-user support. • Collaboration: Work with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
