Job Description: Senior Oracle Developer (8+ Years Experience)

We are looking for a Senior Oracle Developer with at least 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert capable of bridging the gap between database development and administration, with strong expertise in PL/SQL, performance tuning, and automated data integration.

Key Responsibilities :

Database Development: Design, develop, and maintain complex Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers, and Materialized Views using advanced PL/SQL techniques.

Job Orchestration: Expertly utilize DBMS_SCHEDULER (and older DBMS_JOB) to manage complex job dependencies, scheduling, and automation of background database tasks.

DBA-Centric Tasks: Perform operational database tasks including performance tuning (SQL optimization, execution plans), schema management, and monitoring database health.

Data Integration: Design and implement robust data loading processes to ingest and export data from flat files (CSV, TXT) and Excel using utilities like SQL*Loader, External Tables, or custom PL/SQL.

Version Control & Integration: Seamlessly integrate code into the CI/CD pipeline using Git Bash for command-line operations and Bitbucket for repository management and pull request workflows.

Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve critical production issues, including performance bottlenecks, concurrency locks, and data integrity errors.

Required Skills & Qualifications :
Experience: Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Development and Administration.
PL/SQL Mastery: Deep expertise in writing efficient, scalable PL/SQL code for large-scale enterprise applications.
Technical Stack:
Tools: Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD, or PL/SQL Developer.
Utilities: SQL*Loader.

SCM: Proficient in Git workflows (branches, merges, rebase) using Git Bash and Bitbucket.
Data Analysis: Strong ability to analyze data structures and perform complex data transformations and migrations.
Education: Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills :
Experience with Unix/Linux Shell Scripting to support automation.
Oracle certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Advanced PL/SQL Developer.
Familiarity with Agile development environments and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bit bucket).

Need to adhere WFO policy of Client & UST.
