Role description
Role Proficiency:
Ensuring adherence to test practices and process to improve test coverage
Outcomes:
- Create Test Estimates and Schedules
- Identify business processes conduct risk analysis and ensure test coverage
- Ensure adherence of processes and standards
- Produce test results defect reports test logs and reports for evidence of testing
- Publish RCA reports and preventive measures
- Report progress of testing
- Contribute for Revenue savings for client by suggesting alternate method
- Quality of Deliverables

- Test Script Creation and Execution Productivity
- Defect Leakage Metrics (% of defect leaked % of UAT defects and % of Production defects)

Additional Comments:Experience & Technical Skills: - 6+ years of hands-on experience in Test Automation including both development (coding) and manual testing. - Proficient in C#, JavaScript, and the .NET technology stack. - Strong experience with Selenium automation frameworks using C#, NUnit, MS-Test, and Selenium Grid. - Solid understanding and practical application of SOLID design principles in test automation. - Proficient with Visual Studio for development and debugging. Automation & Testing Expertise: - Proven experience in UI Testing and Service/API Testing. - Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using the Microsoft tech stack. - Hands-on experience with GitLab for Continuous Integration and Delivery. - Experience in Database Testing using SQL and Oracle. - Familiarity with Test Management tools such as JIRA. - Familiarity with Test Execution using Saucelabs/Moon/SBox (browser automation platform for Selenium). Documentation & Process: - Ability to document QA test plans, test cases, and test data flow effectively. - Skilled in reporting and tracking issues/bugs in QA environments. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. Soft Skills: - Proactive, flexible, and high-energy individual with a strong sense of ownership. - Excellent communication skills and ability to lead or collaborate within cross-functional teams. - Flexible and supportive of release activities, including coordination and validation during deployment window.
