About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer with strong expertise in mobile test automation and API testing. In this role, you will ensure the quality and reliability of mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms, support CI/CD-driven release pipelines, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation test suites using Appium.

• Perform API testing using RestAssured, ensuring robust backend integrations.

• Conduct testing on Android and iOS platforms—both real devices and emulators.

• Validate RESTful APIs, backend services, and mobile app integration points.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including 3 Amigos discussions, to refine requirements and create test strategies.

• Execute and support testing within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bitrise, GitLab CI/CD).

• Debug issues using mobile logs, device monitoring tools, and platform-level debugging utilities.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases.

• Support mobile build and release workflows as needed.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in mobile app test automation using Appium.

• Solid experience with API testing frameworks (RestAssured preferred).

• Proficiency in testing on both Android and iOS ecosystems.

• Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines, including deployments and validation.

• Strong debugging capabilities using platform logs and other diagnostic tools.

• Comfortable working in Agile environments and participating in 3 Amigos sessions.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of overall testing experience, including 2+ years in mobile automation.

• Experience supporting mobile build and release workflows.

• Exposure to mobile app stability and performance monitoring tools.

• Familiarity with Kotlin or Swift to understand app logic.

• Experience with cloud-based mobile testing platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs).

• Exposure to mocking APIs/services for mobile test scenarios.

• Knowledge of mobile accessibility testing practices.

• Understanding of analytics and event tracking validation within mobile apps.
