We are looking for a skilled Automation QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Selenium, BDD (Cucumber), Java, and API testing. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automation test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery across web and enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java
• Develop and implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber, including feature files and step definitions
• Create and execute automation test suites for functional, regression, and integration testing
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using JIRA or similar defect management tools
• Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation
• Integrate automation test scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure application compatibility
• Analyze test results, debug issues, and continuously enhance automation frameworks
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Proficiency in Java (Python knowledge is a plus)
• Solid experience with Cucumber (BDD framework)
• Knowledge of TestNG / JUnit or similar test frameworks
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and version control systems (Git)
• Strong understanding of test design techniques and defect management processes
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

• API testing experience using Postman and/or REST Assured
• Experience with Maven, Docker, or Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
