HealthProof is seeking a Senior Tester / Lead QA to deliver high-quality implementations of healthcare ecosystems for our Health Plan clients. Reporting to the Engineering and Delivery Lead, the role involves planning, designing, executing, and reporting on software tests, as well as mentoring a team of testers.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent functional, analytical, and communication skills, be a strong problem solver, and have the ability to collaborate effectively in both physical and virtual team environments.
Test Planning & Execution
Create and execute detailed test plans based on business requirements, functional specifications, Agile stories, or product requirements.
Review business and software requirements and provide inputs for quality assurance.
Prepare test cases, test scripts, and test data.
Execute manual and automated tests and report defects clearly for resolution.
Analyze test results and track software testing metrics.
Prepare and present test reports to stakeholders.
Automation & Framework Development
Build and enhance automation frameworks using Selenium with Java.
Implement QA processes and standards to improve efficiency and consistency.
Team Leadership & Mentoring
Train, mentor, and supervise junior software engineers / testers.
Provide guidance and instruction to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Lead QA activities on programming and implementation projects.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Identify, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution.
Review product user interfaces for conformity and usability.
Ensure compliance with organizational Code of Conduct, regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, policies, and procedures.
Client & Project Engagement
Engage with small to mid-size Health Plan clients, third-party vendors, and onsite/offshore associates.
Understand customer needs and proactively propose solutions to ensure high-quality delivery.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent).
8+ years of relevant QA/testing experience.
Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language.
Knowledge of at least one database management system.
Strong coordination, leadership, and communication skills.
Deep understanding of software development in teams, with proven experience delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
Experience in Healthcare applications, Managed Care, Medicare, or Medicaid is preferred.
