Role description

Role Proficiency:

Ensuring adherence to test practices and process to improve test coverage

Outcomes:

  • Create Test Estimates and Schedules
  • Identify business processes conduct risk analysis and ensure test coverage
  • Ensure adherence of processes and standards
  • Produce test results defect reports test logs and reports for evidence of testing
  • Publish RCA reports and preventive measures
  • Report progress of testing
  • Contribute for Revenue savings for client by suggesting alternate method
  • Quality of Deliverables

    Additional Comments:

    The software engineer / Senior software engineer position is responsible for the below: • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Payroll Workday functionalities. • Execute testing processes and validate system configurations against functional and business requirements. • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to identify and document testing requirements. • Conduct end-to-end testing, including unit testing, integration system, and regression testing when required. • Report and track defects, ensuring timely resolutions and retesting. • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure testing objectives align with project goals. • Participate in the design and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions. • Provide expertise and guidance on testing best practices and methodologies. • Maintain and update test documentation to reflect any system changes. • Assist in the coordination of test environments and data requirements. QUALIFICATION • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. • Proven experience with Workday, preferably in testing roles. • Strong understanding of HR modules and business processes within Workday. • Proficient in creating and executing detailed test plans and scripts. • Experience with test management tools [Insert Tools Used, e.g., JIRA, ALM]. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Provide regular updates on the work to required stakeholders. EXPERIENCE • Min 3-4 years of hands-on experience as a Workday Testing Consultant • Hands-on experience with Workday Integration, custom reports testing. • Strong consulting skills, handling customer expectations • Strong analytical mindset and usage of analytics and reporting tools • Excellent communication skills delivering to functional and management audience • Knowledge of HRIS, Program Management tools and MS Office SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES • Experience with automation testing tools. • Experience with Jira scrum Boards. • Hands-on experience in specific Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Payroll, Financials). • Certifications on automation tools like TOSCA and application automation exposure for workday. • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
