Job Description – Salesforce Developer / Senior Salesforce Developer

Experience Range

• Total IT Experience: 5–6 years
• Salesforce Experience: 3–4+ years in Salesforce.com development (coding), configuration & administration
• Exception Case: 5–7 years experience with SPIFF development exposure (good to have)

Must-Have Skills

• 3–5+ years of strong hands-on experience in Salesforce development and customization.
• Proven experience developing in Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC), including JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong expertise in Salesforce Flows (Record-Triggered, Screen, Auto-Launched).
• Experience implementing Lightning Record Pages, Dynamic Forms, and Lightning App Builder.
• Strong development skills in Apex Triggers, Lightning Components, Visualforce Pages.
• Experience in Salesforce administration, including building reports and dashboards.
• Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud; strong understanding of OOB features.
• Ability to explain end-to-end configuration, design, and implementation of completed projects (for senior roles).
• Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and deployment practices.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and integration patterns.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for onsite/offshore stakeholder interaction.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Experience Cloud (Communities).
• Knowledge of Agent Force and Data Cloud.
• Familiarity with middleware platforms and complex integration patterns.
• Ability to write reusable code using trigger frameworks and best practices.
• Awareness of Salesforce release cycles and new feature adoption.
• Experience with SPIFF development (for exceptional cases).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Flows.
• Customize and configure Salesforce using Lightning App Builder, Dynamic Forms, and process automation tools.
• Develop and maintain Apex triggers, batch classes, scheduled jobs, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and other custom Salesforce UI components.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure code quality, and follow development best practices.
• Support integration of Salesforce with third-party systems and internal applications.
• Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases and platform enhancements.
• Work within an Agile/Scrum team, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Provide support during UAT, deployment, and post-deployment phases.
