Lead Industrial Mechanic

We are seeking experienced a Lead Industrial Mechanic to join our growing team!

Our technicians troubleshoot, diagnose, adjust, repair, replace, fabricate, install, and maintain a variety of industrial equipment, including hydraulic presses, conveyors, cranes, automated systems, balers, compactors, exhaust systems, and plumbing systems.

Compensation & Benefits

• $35.00 - $47.00 per hour, based on demonstrated skills, abilities, and overtime worked

Core Responsibilities

Technicians should be capable of handling both electrical and hydraulic repair responsibilities, including:

• Install and modify electrical power circuits (single and three-phase systems)
• Perform operational testing and complete troubleshooting of control circuits
• Lay out, build, and test electrical controls from schematics and line diagrams
• Use systematic troubleshooting methods to diagnose machine failures and complete repairs
• Disassemble, assemble, remove, and install hydraulic components and systems
• Rebuild pistons, vanes, gear pumps, and motors

Technician Proficiencies

• Mechanical assembly and fabrication
• Mechanical maintenance and repair of unfamiliar equipment
• Electrical control assembly and troubleshooting
• Metal fabrication and welding
• Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and installation
• Plumbing experience including welded and threaded piping, copper sweat-fitting, and glued piping systems

Leadership & Professional Requirements

• Ability to lead and direct a small team of 3-5 technicians when required
• Strong follow-up skills to ensure jobs are completed thoroughly and efficiently
• Ability to utilize modern technology, including mobile work order systems and digital communication tools
• Capable of completing accurate and detailed paperwork, including work orders and service documentation
• Excellent customer service skills and professional communication

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean DMV record
• 5 years verifiable experiance
• Must be insurable
• Pass a drug screening
• Available for unscheduled overtime
• Reliable transportation
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work extended hours, including early mornings or overtime as needed
