Lead Infant Teacher

About Us:
At The Learning Grove, we are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Infant Teacher to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our youngest learners.

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans for infants (ages 0–12 months)
• Provide attentive, responsive care to meet each child’s individual needs
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Monitor developmental milestones and communicate progress with parents
• Supervise and support assistant teachers or aides
• Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations and center policies
• Foster strong relationships with families through daily communication

Qualifications:

• Minimum of High School Diploma. WVIT or ACDS REQUIRED.
• Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting
• Knowledge of infant development and best practices
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass background check and meet West Virginia childcare licensing requirements

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:30am - 4:30pm / 8:00am - 5:00pm
