Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this pivotal role, you will inspire young learners during their most formative years, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes curiosity, growth, and development. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula tailored to infants’ developmental stages, incorporating elements of literacy education, early intervention strategies, and Montessori principles.
  • Lead daily classroom activities that promote social-emotional growth, motor skills development, and early childhood education best practices.
  • Manage classroom routines and behavior management techniques to create a safe, structured, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers.
  • Collaborate with families to communicate progress, discuss individualized plans for children with special needs or requiring early intervention services, and foster strong home-school connections.
  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality childcare and consistent classroom management.
  • Conduct assessments of children’s progress using standardized testing methods when appropriate, adjusting lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of developmental milestones, lesson plans, and daily reports in compliance with childcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, including preschool or daycare environments.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
  • Background in curriculum development with an emphasis on literacy education, math fundamentals, physical education activities, and Montessori methods preferred.
  • Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and supporting children with diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, staff, and community partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate standardized testing insights when applicable.
  • Valid certification in early childhood education or related field; additional certifications in toddler care or preschool experience are advantageous.
