Lead Infant Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will lead classroom activities, foster a nurturing environment, and support the developmental needs of infants. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to infants' developmental stages, including sensory play, language development, and motor skills activities
  • Provide attentive care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional security at all times
  • Lead daily classroom routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and engaging in interactive play
  • Monitor each child's progress and communicate regularly with families about their child's growth and needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that promotes learning and safety standards in accordance with licensing regulations
  • Supervise teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality care and effective classroom management
  • Incorporate best practices in early childhood education, special education strategies, and working with children with disabilities to foster inclusive learning experiences

Skills

  • Proven experience working with infants in a daycare or preschool setting, including classroom management and caregiving skills
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education methodologies
  • Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response to emergencies
  • Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and external professionals
  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively while providing nurturing support to each child
  • Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for infants and toddlers
  • Knowledge of safety protocols related to childcare, infant care, and daycare regulations
