Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will serve as a guiding leader in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for our youngest learners. Duties
- Develop and execute age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards and developmental goals for infants and toddlers
- Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages exploration, independence, and social interaction among young children
- Provide attentive infant and toddler care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and ensuring safety at all times
- Implement behavior management strategies that promote positive social skills and emotional regulation
- Maintain detailed documentation of each child's progress, routines, and individual needs to support ongoing development assessments
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or caregiver staff to ensure high-quality classroom management and instructional support
- Communicate regularly with families about their child's milestones, daily activities, and any concerns or observations
Experience
- Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in a classroom or daycare setting is essential
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles specific to early childhood stages
- Experience with classroom management techniques that foster a safe and engaging learning environment
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are highly valued
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and community partners to support children's growth
- Familiarity with early childhood education curricula, behavior management strategies, and caregiving best practices
- Previous nannying or babysitting experience working closely with young children will be considered an asset

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
