Lead Interior Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Interior Designer to bring inspiring spaces to life through creative vision, technical expertise, and meticulous project management. Responsibilities

• Be ready and willing to work in a fast paced and results driven industry while coordinating your efforts with our inhouse design build team.
• Develop comprehensive interior design concepts that align with client goals, budgets, and project specifications.
• Create detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D visualizations using Chief Architect.
• Prepare presentation materials utilizing Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Conduct space planning, color theory analysis, lighting design, and material selection to craft cohesive interior environments.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently while coordinating with contractors, vendors, suppliers and our inhouse production team throughout renovation or remodeling projects.
• Draft detailed construction documents and specifications using Bluebeam, Word, Excel and Buildertrend for seamless communication with construction teams.
• Oversee the procurement process for furnishings, fixtures, lighting (including lighting sales), and finishes ensuring quality standards are met.
• Collaborate on lighting design strategies that enhance ambiance while adhering to safety standards and client preferences.
• Review contracts related to interior projects to ensure compliance with legal requirements and scope of work.
• Lead client presentations confidently while incorporating feedback into final designs.
• Stay updated on industry trends in interior design, lighting solutions, sustainable practices, and innovative materials to continuously elevate your work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in interior design or related fields with a strong portfolio demonstrating project types including residential spaces.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Chief Architect AutoCAD, Revit; 3D modeling tools like SketchUp and Rhinoceros 3D; visualization software including Adobe Photoshop; Bluebeam; and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Solid understanding of drafting standards, space planning principles, color theory, lighting design techniques, and construction processes.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously from concept through completion with excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of contracts management related to interior projects and renovation processes.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members.
• Ability to interpret client needs into innovative designs while maintaining budgetary constraints.
• Familiarity with lighting sales strategies and the integration of lighting solutions into overall interior schemes is a plus.
• Knowledge of remodeling procedures including demolition planning and construction oversight is desirable. Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
