Your Role

As a Lead for L2 Protocol Development & Design, you will be instrumental in designing and optimizing Layer 2 protocol stack components for next-generation wireless communication systems. You will lead the development of MAC, RLC, PDCP, and SDAP layers for 5G NR UE modem protocol stacks, ensuring compliance with global standards and delivering high-performance, scalable solutions.

Your Profile

• 12+ years of experience in wireless communication systems with strong expertise in Layer 2 protocols (MAC, RLC, PDCP, SDAP) for 5G NR.
• Deep understanding of L2 protocol architecture and functionality for UE modem protocol stack.
• Hands-on experience in 5G NR protocol development and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of 3GPP specifications (Rel-15 onwards).
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems and protocol debugging tools.
• Familiarity with simulation environments and test frameworks for protocol validation.
• Exposure to multi-threaded programming, real-time operating systems, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of QoS management, data integrity, and security mechanisms in L2 protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Passion for innovation and ability to drive technical excellence in complex projects.
