Lead Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician with technical expertise to install, service, and repair all property systems in a safe, professional, and timely manner. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining strict habitability and safety standards to ensure the community’s continued operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities

• Appliance & Home Repair: Ensure all appliances (stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, and water heaters) work perfectly and perform repairs to meet California habitability standards.
• Plumbing & Infrastructure: Maintain main drain and sewer lines, repair or replace bathroom and kitchen fixtures, and handle professional caulking and grouting.
• Electrical & Systems: Fix electrical circuits, breakers, and switches, and troubleshoot digital thermostats and leak sensors.
• Unit Turns: Lead the "make-ready" process for vacant apartments, including minor drywall work, cabinet restoration, and screen or blind installation.
• Team & Admin Leadership: Direct outside contractors and porters while managing the digital work-order system and parts inventory.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years in apartment maintenance.
• Tech Skills: Experience with software like Yardi, AppFolio, or Entrata.
• Certification: EPA Section 608 Type II or Universal preferred.
• License: Valid California Driver’s License and reliable vehicle required.
• Physical & Availability: Must be able to lift 50–75 lbs., climb ladders, and work a flexible schedule with rotating on-call hours and able to work weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
