Lead Maintenance/Hotel

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of facilities through routine maintenance and repairs. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge and customer service skills to effectively address maintenance issues and provide support to our residents.

Duties

• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
• Address and resolve maintenance requests from residents in a timely manner, demonstrating excellent customer service.
• Conduct repairs related to electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems as needed.
• Fabricate and weld components for repairs or improvements as required.
• Interpret schematics and blueprints to execute maintenance tasks accurately.
• Carry out residential painting tasks to maintain the aesthetic quality of the properties.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed work orders and inventory of supplies.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
• Proficiency in electrical systems, plumbing, and basic welding techniques is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on resident satisfaction.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
