Responsibilities

The Lead - Manpower Controls/ Productivity Tracker supports the MPD Director in driving manpower productivity, process improvements, and issue resolution across project sites. The role ensures effective monitoring, analysis, and reporting of manpower utilization while implementing corrective actions and best practices to enhance workforce efficiency. It also provides guidance and training to supervisors and workforce teams to optimize performance and minimize productivity losses.

  • Recommend and implement corrective actions to enhance workforce efficiency.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze manpower productivity data in coordination with Operations.
  • Identify productivity gaps and conduct root cause analyses for resolution.
  • Deliver training sessions and practical demonstrations on productivity improvement techniques.
  • Review and monitor crew mix structure to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Track and maintain accurate manpower ratios (Direct vs. Indirect labor).
  • Implement on-site time control measures to prevent early departures.
  • Collaborate with Project Directors, Managers, and Construction Managers to strengthen supervision effectiveness.
  • Support Supervisor Development Programs by conducting sessions on employee empowerment and productivity.
  • Conduct regular toolbox talks to promote productivity awareness among workers.
  • Ensure the availability and adequacy of site logistics, including mess halls, toilets, rest areas, and water coolers.
  • Monitor overtime and absenteeism, analyse causes, and propose minimization practices.
  • Oversee bus drop-off/pick-up arrangements and accessibility of E-Time machines.
  • Conduct regular site follow-ups to ensure corrective measures are implemented and effective
  • Document and report manpower control findings and improvement progress to MPD Director

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field
  • 8 -10 years
  • Ability to collect, interpret, and act on manpower productivity data.
  • Ability to train and empower supervisors and workers for higher efficiency
  • Capability to oversee site welfare facilities, transportation, and workforce logistics.
