Lead Medical-Administrative Assistant/Phlebotomist

Our Integrative Medical Center in Ann Arbor is looking to add an exceptional new team member to our already amazing team!

Important: While this position is primarily administrative, applicants must have experience in both phlebotomy and medical assisting.

Compensation & Growth Opportunities

  • Starting pay: $18/hour during training
  • Increased to $23/hour after successful completion of training
  • Opportunity to earn $26/hour within six months, based on performance
  • Additional performance-based bonuses available, allowing earnings to exceed $26/hour
  • End-of-year performance bonus opportunities

Our clinic is conveniently located near Briarwood Mall in Ann Arbor.

Clinic hours are:

  • Tuesday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Closed weekends
  • Closed Mondays

Your duties will include:

  • Managing administrative processes and office workflows
  • Assisting with patient concerns and resolving issues
  • Performing blood draws, processing specimens, and preparing samples for laboratory shipment (approximately 4 blood draws per week)
  • Conducting diagnostic testing for new patients (training provided)
  • Tracking and organizing pending laboratory results
  • Checking patients in and out
  • Managing daily schedules and appointments
  • Answering and directing phone calls
  • Updating and maintaining medical charts for providers
  • Responding to patient emails
  • Filing, scanning, and maintaining records
  • Supporting team members as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations

Required Experience

  • Phlebotomy: Minimum 1 year
  • Medical office experience: Minimum 1 year
  • Medical Assistant experience: Minimum 1 year preferred
