Lead Methods Engineer – Transportation & Installation

We’re Hiring: Senior / Lead Methods Engineer – Transportation & Installation

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop offshore installation methodologies for subsea structures, pipelines, umbilicals, and related assets
• Prepare engineering deliverables including procedures, method statements, lift plans, rigging studies, and installation analyses
• Support project execution during offshore campaigns and vessel operations
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, and offshore personnel
• Perform feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical reviews
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and HSE requirements
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Naval Architecture, Offshore, or related Engineering discipline
• Extensive offshore T&I engineering experience with strong subsea installation exposure
• Proven experience in deepwater offshore projects
• Strong understanding of offshore installation vessels, lifting operations, and subsea construction methods
• Experience with engineering analysis tools and offshore design standards
• Ability to lead technical discussions and interface with clients
• Offshore experience and willingness to support offshore campaigns is preferred

Preferred Skills

• Experience in SURF, rigid/flexible pipelines, or subsea structures installation
• Familiarity with OrcaFlex, SACS, ANSYS, or similar engineering software
• Strong communication and leadership skills
