Lead Network Security Consultant

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of network and security solutions for enterprise environments, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
• Act as the technical lead for a team of network engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and oversight on project delivery.
• Conduct comprehensive network and security assessments, identify vulnerabilities and compliance gaps, and develop robust remediation strategies.
• Engage directly with clients to understand their business needs, provide expert advisory services, and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and deliver clear and concise technical documentation, including network diagrams, assessment reports, and executive-level presentations.
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot a wide range of network security appliances and tools, such as firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco), WAFs, and VPNs.
• Ensure all solutions comply with relevant security standards and regulatory requirements, such as NCA, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
• Work independently on complex technical challenges, demonstrating a systematic approach to problem-solving and debugging.
• Support the continuous improvement of Oivan’s cybersecurity service offerings and methodologies.

• Experience: 9+ years of hands-on experience in network and security engineering or consulting.
• Leadership: Proven experience in a technical leadership role, with the ability to manage and mentor a team of engineers on complex projects.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching) and security architecture (network segmentation, DMZ).
  • Hands-on experience with leading security technologies, including firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA), WAFs (e.g., F5, Imperva), and IDS/IPS systems.
  • Familiarity with security standards and frameworks such as NCA ECC, ISO 27001, and NIST.
• Customer Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a client-facing role.
• Independence: Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications are highly desirable, such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security, or vendor-specific credentials (e.g., Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE).
