Lead One Year Old Teacher

We currently have a morning opening position available for an experienced teacher in our one-year old classroom. The ideal candidate must be reliable and dependable as this position requires you to work Monday-Friday. Experience as a lead one-year old teacher is required and references will be checked. CDA and/or TCC preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide basic care and caregiving activities
• Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc) to enhance the child’s abilities
• Evaluate children’s performance to make sure they are on the right learning track
• Collaborate with other colleagues
• Adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by our center and the state.
• Create weekly lesson plans

Skills:

• Proven experience as a child care / daycare teacher
• Excellent knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methods
• Methodical and creativity
• Patience, flexibility and love for children
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Certificate in first aid and CPR (or able to obtain within 30 days of hire)
• Degree/TCC/CDA in early childhood education preferred
