Role Profile:

Type of work : Full-time


Job Purpose:

The objective is to maintain continuous, effective, and efficient plant production by controlling or operating chemical processes, systems, and machines, all while strictly adhering to safety and operational regulations, rules, and procedures. Responsible for operating the Distributed Control System (DCS) within the plant to meet all process control parameters and product specifications, ensuring the safe operation of the facility. The role involves executing operations effectively across all areas of plant operations.


🔑 Key Accountabilities


🔧 Operational / Functional

  • Operate, monitor, and adjust chemical and mechanical systems.
  • Inspect equipment and materials for safety and quality.
  • Lead start-up/shutdown procedures and respond to emergencies.
  • Maintain records, ensure compliance, and optimize processes.
  • Manage auxiliary systems (pumps, compressors, turbines, etc.).
  • Ensure safe handling of hazardous materials and maintain housekeeping standards.

📘 Qualifications & Experience

  • Education : High School Diploma (minimum); Diploma in Engineering or Ammonia Production preferred.
  • Experience : 6+ years in mining (ammonium production); international experience is a plus.
