Job Description

The Performance Content & social media Lead is responsible for building and scaling the full content ecosystem that powers paid growth, organic reach, and storytelling. With deep understanding of creative strategy, content production, and social media presence across all platforms — with a sharp focus on measurable performance outcomes.


This role requires a hybrid thinker: part creative, part growth, part social storyteller. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver content that converts, engages, and strengthens brand equity.


Key Responsibilities


1. Strategic Leadership & Vision


  • Define the content vision for paid, organic, and social channels aligned with business goals.
  • Build and scale the performance content function, including team structure, processes, and creative frameworks.
  • Partner with leadership across Growth, Product, and Sales to drive integrated marketing initiatives.


2. Performance Marketing Content Ownership


  • Lead creative strategy for paid campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging ad platforms.
  • Develop high‑performing ad concepts rooted in insights, hooks, and experimentation, to align content with funnel stages, audience segments.
  • Oversee A/B testing frameworks to optimize CTR, CVR, ROAS, and CAC.
  • Lead a team of content writers, designers, video editors.
  • Manage agencies, freelancers, and creators to scale output efficiently.


3. Conversion‑Driven Content Optimization (CRO)


  • Own the content strategy for CRO, ensuring every landing page, ad, and funnel touchpoint uses messaging that reduces friction and increases conversions.
  • Integrate social proof strategically (testimonials, UGC, case studies) to strengthen trust and improve conversion intent.
  • Optimize landing page copy for clarity, persuasion, and relevance across different audience cohorts and funnel stages.
  • Use behavioral analytics (heatmaps, scroll depth, session recordings) to identify content gaps, drop‑off points, and opportunities to improve narrative flow.
  • Create modular content frameworks that allow rapid testing of variations across ads, landing pages, and social funnels.


4. Content Production & Creative Direction


  • Oversee end‑to‑end content production, including video, static, UGC, long‑form, and landing page content.
  • Set creative standards for storytelling, design, and brand consistency.
  • Guide scripting, shoots, and creative development for high‑impact campaigns.


5. Data, Insights & Optimization

Required Skills & Experience


  • 5–12 years of experience in content, performance marketing, or social media leadership roles.
  • Deep understanding of paid media platforms and performance creative best practices.
  • Strong creative judgment with the ability to evaluate and elevate content quality.
  • Proficiency with creative tools like Figma, Canva, Adobe Suite, Kling, Hey gen etc
