Lead Pharmacy Technician

Salary: $26.00 - $36.25 per hour
How you'll make an impact in this role:
  • Lead pharmacy services staff in daily operations, serving as a subject matter expert and resource to pharmacists, clinical leadership, and cross-site pharmacy teams.
  • Coordinate shift activities by assigning, monitoring, and reviewing work; oversee pharmacy technician performance; and address scheduling and operational issues as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures by monitoring adherence, reporting findings, and supporting departmental problem-solving initiatives.
  • Contribute to workforce development by providing input on hiring, training, staff development, and performance evaluation, and by supporting specialty projects as assigned by Pharmacy Management.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
    obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
