Lead Piping Engineer - EPC Business Unit

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the design and management of piping systems for various projects, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and industry standards.
• Supervise a team of piping engineers and designers, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct stress analysis, system design, and material specifications to ensure the integrity and functionality of piping systems.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of piping designs with overall project requirements.
• Review and approve project drawings and standards, ensuring compliance with local and international engineering codes and standards.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for piping-related issues during the design and construction phases.
• Manage resources and schedules for successful project execution, including preparing proposals and cost estimates.
• Develop and implement strategies for improving piping design and installation processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven work experience of +10 years as a Piping Engineer, with strong knowledge of the different piping design aspects and drafting techniques.
• Expertise in piping-related software such as AutoCAD, PDMS, or SP3D
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with project managers, procurement, construction teams, and other engineering disciplines to achieve project objectives.
• Facilitate communication between various stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
