Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves implementing a curriculum that promotes literacy, math skills, and overall child welfare while ensuring effective classroom management. The Preschool Teacher will work closely with toddlers, guiding their development through engaging activities and individualized attention.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote literacy and math skills.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that supports the emotional and social development of each child.
  • Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring all children are engaged and participating in activities.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through open communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor children's progress through standardized testing and informal assessments to tailor instruction to individual needs.
  • Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being throughout the school day.
  • Incorporate Montessori methods into daily activities to encourage independent learning and exploration.
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom that is conducive to learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience in toddler care and preschool education is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of classroom management techniques and child welfare practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
  • Familiarity with standardized testing methods for early childhood education is a plus.
  • Knowledge of literacy education strategies and math concepts suitable for preschool-aged children.
  • A genuine passion for teaching young children and fostering their development in a supportive environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
