Lead Preschool Teacher
We're Hiring: Lead Preschool Teacher at Summit County Preschool!

We’re currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to join our incredible team! This is the perfect opportunity for someone who’s passionate about early childhood education and wants to be part of a supportive, creative, and hands-on learning environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading a classroom of 4 and 5 year-old children with warmth, patience, and joy.
- Creating engaging weekly lesson plans and fun, developmentally appropriate circle times, art and science projects.
- Using Teaching Strategies to observe and assess children and their development.
- Building strong relationships with children, families, and coworkers. Supporting each child's growth and learning through play, routine, and positive guidance.
What We’re Looking For:
- A fun, caring, and reliable educator who’s excited to make a difference.
- Strong communication skills and a great work ethic.
- Someone who enjoys a balance of structure and creativity.
- Minimum Level 2 on Colorado Shines PDIS is required.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus, but not required.
- At least one year of experience working in a childcare setting is required.
- Experience leading a childcare classroom is strongly preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- High school diploma or GED required. Physically able to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Schedule:
- Full-time, year-round position
- Four 10-hour days (Saturdays and Sundays off with an additional day off during the week.) Open hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
