The Wonder School is a warm, child-centered preschool seeking an experienced EEC Certified Preschool Teacher with at least 2 years of experience as a Lead Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and excited to join a supportive, collaborative school community.

We are thrilled to be opening our beautiful brand new location in Belmont, featuring bright classrooms filled with natural light and a rooftop playground designed for exploration and play. The Wonder School is known for its strong sense of community, supportive leadership, and collaborative teaching team. We value long-term relationships with our teachers and strive to create a stable, respectful, and positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and lead a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate Pre-K classroom
• Plan and implement a thoughtful curriculum that supports kindergarten readiness
• Support children's social, emotional, and academic growth
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom and ensure compliance with MA EEC regulations
• Complete classroom documentation, progress reports, and communication with families
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and fellow educators
• Collaborate with the teaching team and participate in school community events

Qualifications

• MA EEC Lead Teacher Certification (Preschool) required
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Lead Teacher in a preschool classroom
• Strong classroom management and curriculum planning skills
• Positive, reliable, and team-oriented
• Passion for early childhood education and child development
