Role: Lead QA

Role & Responsibility Description:

• Detail oriented Lead QA who owns the project’s end to end testing process
• Define test strategy and test plans and reviewing them with project manager/Team and Client
• Improve test coverage, reviewing and filling gaps in existing automation
• Represents the customer, understanding how they use the system and including the most relevant end to end user scenarios in test plans and automation
• Can collaborate independently with client and team members
• Understands the solution and be a part of the implementation team
• Performs Front-end testing (UI)
• Vast experience in API testing.
• Reviews business requirements, technical requirements, and design documents
• Tests ease-of-use, ease-of-support, robustness, scalability and security
• Maintain/manage the data in the bug-tracking tool for consistency and quality and reports the same with clarity on a daily/ weekly basis using tracking tools
• Can follow agile practices, can take up performance and security testing and provides/ creates Traceability Matrix
• Identify and escalate risks in time to the Project Manager or Leader
• Acquires/ updates domain knowledge on job and is a self-learner
• Interface with customers for issue resolution and testing status updates

Documentation:

• Creates and executes test strategy, test plans, test cases and automated tests
• Prepares detailed test scenarios, test cases and end-to-end test cases and get them approved from BA and client
• Reviews test case result, logs bugs and anchor defects prevention activities
