Duties

Plans, administers, and performs complex Real Estate tasks for Civil and Military customers.

Responsible for promoting and maintaining effective working relationships with, the general public, State and local governments, and military components within Kansas City District’s areas of responsibility.

Plans and discusses assignments, organizes work for effective utilization and performs quality assurance/quality control for the real estate contracting officer to meet assigned schedules and objectives.

Keeps apprised of status, quality, and quantity of team’s work, and advises Branch Chief of status and proposed deviations.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience
To qualify for this position, you must have 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS-11, or equivalent. Specialized experience is defined as:
1 - managing planning and acquisition or management and disposal projects and activities from initial development to completion;
2 - reviewing real estate products for regulation and policy compatibility; AND
3 - preparing real estate products with minimal supervision.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
