Position Overview

Full Armor Protection Group, LLC is seeking a professional, reliable, and experienced Lead Security Officer to oversee security operations at a commercial office building. This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage both routine and high-pressure situations with confidence.

The Lead Officer will serve as the primary on-site point of contact, ensuring that all security personnel perform their duties effectively and maintain a safe, secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff.

Job Description

• Supervise and direct on-site security personnel during assigned shifts
• Act as the liaison between property management and security staff
• Conduct routine patrols of the building, parking areas, and surrounding property
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and tenant concerns
• Prepare detailed daily activity reports and incident reports
• Ensure all post orders and company policies are followed
• Train and mentor new security officers
• Maintain a professional presence and provide excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of security experience, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Valid **IL PERC **
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
• Proficient with basic computer systems and security technology
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and reliability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial or corporate office environments
• CPR/First Aid/AED Certification
• Familiarity with electronic reporting systems

Work Schedule

• Monday through Friday 0700-1500
• Must be available for weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
