Lead Server

Gretel is looking for an energetic and dedicated Lead Server to join our team. As a Lead Server, you will play a big role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing outstanding service, guiding the serving team, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the serving team to deliver top-tier guest service, ensuring all guests’ needs are met
• Take and accurately relay guest orders using Toast POS system
• Assist with food handling, and sanitation standards to uphold safety and quality regulations
• Oversee food safety protocols, proper food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area
• Close the restaurant on your serving shifts

Experience

• Proven restaurant experience with a strong background in food service or hospitality roles
• Prior fine dining experience is highly preferred to understand elevated service standards
• Experience with Toast POS system is essential for efficient order management
• Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to increase sales while maintaining excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
