Lead Software Engineer (Senior) — Full-Stack Mobile & Web

We are seeking two elite Senior / Lead Software Engineers to spearhead the production implementation of a high-concurrency, coordinate-locked real-time data infrastructure spans across both mobile and web ecosystems. The frontend wireframes, comprehensive system design architecture, and high-level UI/UX flows are complete for both environments.

Your mandate is to build a production-ready engine from the ground up, establishing the core geospatial backend algorithms, high-speed mobile syncing frameworks, and merchant web dashboard architectures. Additionally, you will directly architect the engineering department by interviewing, hiring, managing, and provisioning tasks for the incoming technical team.

Core Technical Stack & Domain Expertise Required

Candidates must possess hands-on, production-level mastery of the following tools and frameworks across the full web/app stack:

1. Mobile Application Architecture

• Flutter / React Native: Building cross-platform mobile environments optimized for background processing and low battery consumption.
• Native Core Tracking (Swift / Kotlin): Deep integration with background iOS CoreLocation and Android Location Services to stream precise, real-time coordinates.
• Local Caching: Managing secure on-device state persistence using SQLite or Hive.

2. Web Engineering & Frontend Dashboards

• React.js / Next.js / Vue.js: Developing high-performance, responsive web portals and analytics dashboards for business and merchant operators.
• State Management & Data Visualization: Utilizing Redux Toolkit or Zustand alongside chart libraries (D3.js / Chart.js) to display real-time localized footfall metrics.

3. Geospatial Databases & Spatial Query Engines

• PostgreSQL / PostGIS: Expert deployment of spatial indexes ($R$-tree / GiST) for high-speed location filtering.
• Redis Geo: Implementation of ultra-low latency geospatial radius matching and real-time distance calculations.
• MongoDB Geospatial Indexing: Execution of complex 2dsphere queries and coordinate bounding polygon intersections.
• Uber H3 / Quadtree: Structuring spatial data into discrete, hierarchical hexagonal or square grid systems.

4. Real-Time Streaming & Network Protocols

• WebSockets / gRPC / MQTT: Processing continuous, persistent, bidirectional client-to-server coordinate syncing under variable mobile network conditions.
• Apache Kafka / RabbitMQ: Architecting robust event-driven systems to distribute dense local event streams across high-concurrency environments.
• Redis Pub/Sub: Powering instantaneous, dynamic proximity notifications to concurrent active mobile sessions.

5. AI, Data Engineering & Analytical Moats

• Python (PyTorch / TensorFlow / NumPy / Scikit-learn): Designing the math-heavy pipelines needed for silent, coordinate-locked trend profiling and predictive analytics.
• pgvector / Pinecone / Milvus: Structuring vector spaces to perform semantic search queries on localized physical attributes and user-merchant interaction datasets.
• ETL Engineering: Writing automated database triggers and scheduling engines to execute strict data-retention rules, including absolute 48-hour data-purging policies.

6. Backend Languages & Core Frameworks

• Node.js (TypeScript): Deploying fast asynchronous event loops utilizing Express.js or NestJS for robust type-safety.
• Go / Golang: Developing ultra-performant, low-overhead microservices capable of native concurrent processing via Goroutines.
• Python (FastAPI): Engineering high-speed, asynchronous API endpoints optimized for machine learning orchestration layers.
• GraphQL / RESTful APIs: Structuring clean, secure, data-efficient API schemas for dynamic multi-radius web and mobile clients.

7. Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps & Containerization

• Docker & Kubernetes (K8s): Containerizing spatial microservices and managing elastic container orchestration to handle burst traffic smoothly.
• AWS / GCP / DigitalOcean: Native provisioning of cloud infrastructure, managed relational databases, and auto-scaling compute groups.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Structuring continuous delivery setups using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins alongside rigorous automated load testing frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Cross-Platform Delivery: Translate comprehensive system architecture blueprints into production-ready cross-platform mobile apps and merchant web dashboards.
• Team Building & Management: Source, vet, hire, and manage the local engineering sprint pipeline, introducing rigid continuous testing, code safety protocols, and deployment standardizations.
• Engine Optimization: Build a low-overhead, high-throughput geospatial computation engine to process live proximity matches within an active, shifting radius.
• Data Pipeline Governance: Implement robust ETL processes for coordinate-locked transactions, enforcing strict metadata isolation and automated aging policies.

Qualifications

• Experience Profile: 6–8+ years of core software engineering experience, specifically demonstrating deep contributions to live, large-scale consumer apps and B2B web platforms.
• Management History: Direct past experience conducting technical interviews, making hiring selections, setting code metrics, and managing a developer squad.
• Domain Alignment: Previous engineering experience with on-demand matching grids (e.g., ride-hailing routing, food delivery logistical dispatch engines), real-time messaging protocol layers, or dense geospatial data platforms.
• Execution Mindset: Exceptional autonomous system-solving capacity with a dedication to constructing highly performant systems directly in Lahore.
