Job Summary:
We are looking for an AVP – Solution Architect to build and scale Jiostar’s self-serve advertising platform for SMB advertisers and agencies. This role combines strategy, product partnership, and hands-on execution to deliver a frictionless, high-performance platform. You will work closely with product, engineering, and data teams to shape the roadmap, drive adoption, and ensure advertisers can independently run and optimize campaigns at scale.
About the team:
The SMB Indirect team builds scaled, low-touch growth engines for SMB advertisers through Programmatic, Self-Serve, Partnerships, and Performance initiatives.
Its mandate is to unlock incremental revenue by expanding reach, simplifying access, and driving measurable outcomes for advertisers at scale.

Lead the charter to build and scale Jiostar’s self-serve advertising platform for SMBs and agencies, defining the vision, prioritizing features, and driving adoption across advertisers.

Design intuitive onboarding, campaign setup, and optimization workflows, creating templates, automation, and self-serve tools that minimize friction and maximize campaign performance.

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape the platform roadmap, translating advertiser needs into scalable, user-centric product features that enhance usability and platform performance.

Develop scalable self-serve solutions, including reporting dashboards and optimization tools, empowering advertisers to manage campaigns independently while improving ROI.

Partner with data and analytics teams to embed actionable insights into the platform, providing campaign diagnostics, budget allocation guidance, and performance benchmarks.

Work with sales and account management to enable structured onboarding, provide training resources, and develop documentation that supports a frictionless advertiser experience.

Monitor industry trends, competitive self-serve platforms, and emerging technologies to introduce new capabilities and maintain Jiostar’s leadership in SMB performance advertising.

Balance hands-on problem solving with strategic planning, driving immediate improvements while building scalable systems and processes to support long-term platform growth and adoption.

Strong understanding of self-serve ad platforms, campaign workflows, and optimization techniques.

8–15 years of experience in digital advertising, ad-tech, or self-serve platforms.

Proven track record in designing or scaling self-serve advertising solutions.

Exposure to SMB advertiser ecosystems and agencies.

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/MS or equivalent preferred.
