Lead Supply Chain Analyst

Basic Function:

Applies mid-level Supply Chain and Project Management principles to provide advice on the supply chain issues associated with the acquisition of moderately-complex materials requirement by making independent assessment decisions that affect the following: Responsiveness to changes in demand at reasonable costs; Security to ensure that supplies travel through the supply chain without disruptions; Sustainability to provide products through the chain that are controlled with minimal resource impacts; Resilience to develop a system that identifies, monitors and reduces supply chain risks and disruptions with fast reactions and cost-effectiveness within the Supply Chain, deliverability, and distribution efficiencies. Key areas of recommendations will be

provided in the areas of Supply Chain Analysis; Transportation and Distribution; Strategic Procurement; Supply Chain Project Management; Supply Chain Design Strategy, Transformation and Innovation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Performs Customer & Supplier Relationship Management Analysis support at a skilled level by: seeking out end-user needs and addressing them; assess potential profitability increases through cost effect applications of supply chain processes; by providing reliable-proposed supply chain solutions.

Applies Customer Service Management Principles at a skilled level by: ensuring all the supply chain

management responsibilities of logistics, shipping dates, exception notices, manufacturing milestones accomplishments, and all cross-functional tasks are met and communicated in a timely manner.

Conducts Demand Management Analysis at a skilled level by avoiding unnecessary inventory buildup or shortages by: creating time-series forecasts; ensuring the accuracy of time-phased reorder-point schedules; separates dependent from independent demand items to establish reorder point systems.

Ensures Order Fulfillment by: delivering the right product at the right time of the right quality in the correct packaging by the correct mode of transportation; focusing on customer order & item fill rates; while maximizing inventory turns for a given inventory or project.

Monitors Manufacturing Flow Management with suppliers at a skilled level by: regulating the outcomes of well managed manufacturing results with supplier against Company requirements through timely execution of production milestones.

Conducts Procurement Instrument Analysis at a skilled level by ensuring: compliance with established policies & procedures; the buying activities are appropriate; business acumen between buyer and seller is professionally maintained; and process improvement is evaluated in project closeout report

Assists Suppliers with Product Development at a skilled level by: working in a process with end-users and suppliers to bring products and services to the Company in a timely manner through identification of supply chain needs, development of transparent relationships with suppliers.

Optimizes business processes at a skilled application level through the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) while defining, measuring, analyzing, improving, and controlling the improvements. Creates Models of Complex Supply Chains for Decision Support Analysis.

Minimum Requirements:

Five years of experience must be in Supply Chain includes any experience in any of the following functions: Procurement, Logistic, Traffic Field, Contracting, Business Development or other functions in the Procurement Org related to the Supply Chain business.

Educational Level: Bachelors in Supply Chain Management or any related field

Licenses & Certificate:

Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)- preferred

Production & Inventory Management (CPIM)- preferred
